How to Connect Mixpanel to Customerscore.io

Prepare Mixpanel API Access

  1. Log in to your Mixpanel account. We’ll need the project ID from your account URL (e.g., https://eu.mixpanel.com/project/12345 — in this case, “12345” is the project ID).
  2. Navigate to Settings > Organization Settings -> Service accounts and click Add Service Account button in the top-right corner.
  3. In the form enter Customerscore as the Name, set the Organization Role to Member, select your Project, set the Project Role to Consumer, and set Expires to Never. Click the Create button at the bottom of the form to create a service account.
  1. Once the Service Account is created, please share the Username and Secret Key with us securely. We recommend using a secure sharing tool such as Password Pusher to transmit the credentials safely.
  2. Along with the project ID, Username, and Secret key, please also provide the following additional information:
    1. Data Residency: Where is your data stored? (e.g., EU)
    2. Project Timezone: Specify the timezone for your project (e.g., Europe/Prague)
    3. Unique Customer ID Field: Which field should we use as the unique identifier for each customer in your system?
    4. List of Events: Which events are you currently tracking in Mixpanel that you want to sync with the Customerscore.io app?
    5. Floating Average Interval: By default, we apply a sum aggregation over a 30-day rolling window for event data. If you prefer a shorter or longer interval, please let us know.
    6. Is Mixpanel Your Source of Truth?: If yes, all customers from your Mixpanel account will be imported into the Customerscore.io app.
    7. Other Requirements: Are there any special requirements or customizations we should be aware of?
